AC & Non-AC taxis ranging from Maruti Van to air-conditioned luxurious cars are widely available for hopping town to town. A full day’s sightseeing, depending on the distance, is likely to be around Rs1500 to Rs2500. You’ll rarely find a taxi with a functioning meter, so agree on a price before you agree to be a passenger.

Apart from hiring taxi, coach (for bigger groups up to 50 person), you can also hire self-driven car. They also provide driver if you need one. The cost ranges from Rs.750 to Rs.5000 for taxi and self-driven cars; depending on the make of the vehicle. Taxis are provided for 8hrs and up to 80kms. Beyond this limit, depending on the make of the vehicle, traveller has to pay Rs.10/km to Rs.30/km extra travelled and Rs.50/hr. to Rs.200/hr. for the delay.
