Atreya Vedic Farm is located at a distance of 28 kms from Panaji at the foothills of the Western Ghats in Bondu Mol, Mollem. It is 47 kms from Margao, 57 kms from Panaji and 59 kms from Dabolim airport.

How to Reach

Atreya Vedic Farm can be reached easily from any part of Goa by hiring a taxi or an auto or by bus. You can also hire a private van or jeep to reach Atreya Vedic Farm. If travelling by bus then you have to get down in Bondu Mol at NH-4A and then walk for 5 minutes to reach the Farm.

Best Month to Visit

Anytime of the year but to enjoy colourful flowers filled garden with swarms of free-flying butterflies, visit in the months of September to January.

Best Time to Visit

Anytime between 9 am to 4 pm but in order to enjoy swarms of free-flying butterflies, visit between 10 am to 12 pm on a sunny day.

Timings

    9 am to 4 pm. Remains closed on Thursday.

The 36-acre estate comprises of sylvan forest land, wooded groves, perfumed tropical gardens, an orchard, an astrological plant park, Charak Vatika – a medicinal plantation, and above all, Prasidica Butterflies. There is also a beautiful stream fed by Dudh Sagar Falls where you can take bath at the end of your farm tour.

Prasidica Butterflies

Atreya Vedic Farm boasts of the first of its kind butterfly garden in Goa. Tropical plants and colourful flowers fills the garden with swarms of free-flying butterflies, ensuring that it remains the most kaleidoscopic spot at the estate. Prasidica Butterflies is a garden with butterflies flittering from flower to flower; it is not only a delight in itself but also indicates a healthy environment and a wealth of wildlife.

Astrological Plant Park

The Astrological Plant Park, the first and only one of its kind in Goa, is beautiful green enclave. Making their presence felt here are 9 plants subscribing to the graha (planets), 12 trees representing the rashi (zodiac signs) and 27 types of plants and trees constituting the nakshatra (constellations). Meditation blocks placed beneath each astrological tree beckon you to connect with nature and imbibe its positive energy.

Spice Plantation Garden

Atreya Vedic Farm is focused on preserving and raising approximately 75 medicinal and aromatic plants and spices. At the end of your guided trip through Charak Vatika, your knowledge of medicinal plants will be enhanced and you’ll be rooting for a herbal lifestyle!

Parabrahma - The Restauant

Authentic Goan vegetarian fare, which makes use of farm-fresh ingredients, is served at the rustic restaurant.
